The cabin was completely upgraded to a 4 season vacation home and even has central air. 2022 updated appliances in the kitchen and have also added corn hole, ladder-golf, ring toss, Velcro ball catch game, dog tennis balls, and sand/beach toys. The bedrooms are spacious and the fishing is excellent. Bedroom Configuration::->Master Bedroom 1 King Bed & Attached Bathroom->Guest Bedroom 1 King Bed & Attached Bathroom->Guest Bedroom 2 Queen Beds->1 -Roll Away Single Cot->1 -Hotel quality full sleeper sofa Please note, due to strict condo association rules snowmobiles and ATV's are not allowed to be operated on this property. Teal lake is a 1024 acre lake with lots of undeveloped shoreline and islands to explore. Teal is known for its' excellent fishing. It's also considered a "Quite Lake" because it has a 10 MPH speed limit for motorized boats. This means you won't be seeing and hearing Jet skis and ski boats rush by all day long while sitting lakeside or out fishing. If you like to explore for people kayaking, canoeing, and boating the six islands on Teal Lake are owned by the DNR and open to the public for hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and exploring; two have picnic areas and grills so you can even do a shore lunch: one island can be camped on overnight. The Teal River is just down our shoreline, and that is also available for fishing, boating, and great for kayaking and canoeing. The depth of the water at the shoreline is a couple of inches and sandy and clear (great for kiddos and dogs); and just sand in that area if in a drought. Pretty much every worm you fish with from the dock will catch you a small panfish, if not bigger (have caught several muskies off the dock, a large mouth bass, and tons of perch, bluegill, crappies, and sunfish). The cabin is in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest that features some great and well marked hiking trails. The Mukwonago Ski trail is also only 2 miles away. A Note About Dogs: We LOVE dogs and we want our guests to enjoy their vacation with the whole family, including the furry members :-) Up to two dogs are allowed at this cabin with prior approval- an additional fee applies. That being said, please be mindful of whether our home is appropriate for your dog(s). We may not be the vacation rental for you if your dog(s): *Consider barking to be a favorite pastime; *Chew things other than bones; *Like to visit the neighbors unsupervised (we do not have a fenced-in yard), and/or; *Use the house as a bathroom. We ask that your dogs be supervised when at the cabin and crated when you are not (One large crate is available at the cabin). Also, it should not need to be said (but unfortunately needs to be, as we have had guests leave enough surprises for us), but PLEASE pick up after your dogs!!
