Welcome to Stoney Hollow!  This dog friendly, private, mountain home is tucked away in the quiet hills of Valle Crucis!  On two private acres, you'll have plenty of room for outdoor activities with the whole family! This recently renovated home has all the charm of a mountain cabin, with custom sawmill walls and wood burning fireplace, but with all new furniture, mattresses, and a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen, you're able to enjoy all the modern amenities of a newly built home.  Stoney Hollow features two bedrooms, both Queen beds on the main floor and features a day bed with trundle on the lower level. This also where you'll find the additional game room with TV, foosball table and video game console! Perfect hideaway for the kids during your visit!  The open concept family room features a wood burning fireplace and TV. Perfect for a cozy movie night with the family. The full kitchen has both a Keurig and drip coffee maker, microwave, and comes fully stocked for all your cooking and dining needs. There is a newly renovated full bath on the main floor just steps from the open living room and kitchen.  Stoney Hollow is fully equipped with all linens, dishes, kitchen utensils and washer/dryer.  The location is only ten minutes to Boone and just a short drive to Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. You are minutes to the Original Mast General Store and the Mast Store Annex as well as the Valle Crucis Park. No matter the season, Stoney Hollow will be the end of your search for your perfect mountain getaway!Additional notes: - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.  - Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax. - Towels and linens will be provided for you. - This home is pet friendly. One dog, with a second considered with approval by the owner. The pet fee is $25 per day, per dog.  - please be aware that the ceiling in the downstairs game room is low. Those going down into this room will have low headroom on the stairs.Bookings canceled at least 61 days before the start of the stay will receive 100% refund, bookings canceled after will receive no refund.
